The Irish national cricket team is touring Bangladesh to take part in a 2 Match Test Series and a 3 Match T20I Series. The Tour will begin with the Test Series and First Test will be played from the 11th of November

The 2nd Test will be played from 19th of November, 2025.

The T20I Series will commence from 27th of November and the 3rd and Final T20I Match will be played on the 2nd December, 2025.

The First Test will be played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium while the Second Test is scheduled to take place at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. The First and Second T20I Match will be played at the Bir Shrestha Shahid Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Cricket Stadium in Chattogram while the 3rd T20I is scheduled to be played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

Najmul Hossain Shanto has been named skipper for the Test Series. Mahmudul Hasan Joy has also earned a place in the squad on the back of his domestic heroics. Bangladesh have named a strong squad with players like Jaker Ali, Litton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidy Hasan Miraz in the mix.

Ireland on the other hand are led by Andrew Balbirnie for the Tests. They have included match winners like Curtis Campher, Harry Tector, Barry McCarthy and Lorcan Tucker in their squad. Stephen Doheny and Cade Carmichael have also earned call ups on the back of their form in domestic circuit.

For the T20I’s, Paul Stirling has been named the captain. He has plenty of exceptional T20 players in the team like Mark Adair, George Dockrell, Josh Little and Tim Tector.

Although, Bangladesh will start as favorites for both the Tests and T20I’s, Ireland still have an outside chance to spring an upset or two against the hosts.
